Not sure if we were just really hungry but this place was a pleasant stop for lunch during our wandering about in Antwerp. Definitely enjoyed the grilled king prawns.

The food was great. We were looking for a decent meal before leaving Antwerp and figured we can’t go wrong with a Michelin recommended restaurant. The smoke eel was excellent so was the beef tongue. The duck was lean but maybe that how the ducks here are. The clams were smaller but flavorful. The beir choice was light but Cornet was a good blonde to go with the food choices of the night. Not touristy, in fact it’s quiet perhaps because there is a Michelin 1 star right next to it
Found this restaurant in the Michelin guide. The food was tasty but the service wasn't great. This is a very unorganized restaurant. Had three different servers in the course of 1.5 hours. There is little to no communication between the staff. They jump from one thing to the next without any order. Excessively casual attire on the staff (shirts untucked, jeans with holes, etc..) Staff was more interested in hanging out with their friends then doing their job. The escargot was good. The Lamb shoulder with veggies and potato au gratin was the real winner. The lamb was tender and cooked to perfection. Well done to the chef.
I personally think this is a worthwhile restaurant to try. Their menu are rather traditional but comprehensive, with some special dishes that other restaurants do not have. I enjoyed the dinner here and would like to come by again:)
Great restaurant in a nice part of Antwerp, offering Flemish and Belgian dishes. I ordered Bruschetta met straciatella di burrata, and Vol au vent van kip, gehakt en champignons, and both were really delicious. It’s a little pricey, but I think it worth it.
